No doubt, life can be overwhelming, but there is one thing I believe.
We can control our inner selves, where certainly we don't have control over external circumstances.
From Inner peace to Outer peace
It's simple to understand. When we our troubled from the inside, we will make troubled decisions, act troubled and our perception of outer world will be troubled.
But,
When we are at peace, our decisions will be peaceful, we will think calmly and peacefully, we will have more clarity of our surroundings.
Peaceful Perception leads to Better Outcomes:
Thinking peacefully, in spite of the storms and stress in external world, helps us make peaceful decisions.
We don't act impulsively.
We make better financial decisions too. Since we don't shop and spend money out of stress or impulsively just to soothe our inner selves.
Attracting Positive Energy:
Our positive and calm inner self radiates positive energy. This energy acts as magnet. People are drawn to this energy.
Positive self adds more Resilience: When we have control over our inner selves, we can deal with external storms peacefully. We would still feel some stress, well it's natural, but we will be more resilient.
The question is, how do we achieve that calm inner self? Here's how
A. Find moments for stillness with few minutes of quiet meditation, a mindful walk in nature, or sitting in silence with a warm beverage.
B. Be greatful for all blessings and good things in life. Stop comparing.
C. Be present in present. This mindful presence brings a sense of calm to everyday activities.
D. Set Healthy Boundaries: I must say this is the most important. We have boundaries. We can protect our positive energy by saying no to activities that drain us, fatigue us.
So, just take a deep breath, find that inner stillness in this vibrant energy of life, and feel how our external world changes for us.
